Swimming all the year round

The swimming lakes are a public beach, with two dressing rooms to be used by the swimmers. A public restroom can also be found in the main building of Luonto-Parra, Parramaja. The restroom is located close to the lakes, on their side of the building.

The lakes give life to the scenery and event venue around the Luonto-Parra grounds. The huge rentable saunas in Parramaja paired with the swimming lakes refresh visitors also in winter – weekly winter swimming is a popular hobby in Parra.

The lakes serve multiple functions in the area. In addition to swimming they also provide water for Snowpark Parra´s snow cannons, as the slopes are covered with artificial snow.
